Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia has named technology sector leader and experienced community and health sector organisation director Kylie Walker as chair of its recently recruited independent board. Ms Walker – chief executive officer of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering – was one of five directors ARIIA welcomed to its new board about six weeks ago. ARIIA’s independent board is skills-based and responsible for overseeing the organisation. The other directors named on 7 August are: Fraser Bell, partner of Thomson Greer Gary Brady, chair of Anglicare Southern Queensland Judith Leeson, director of Vector Consultants Richard Porter, chief financial officer of Flinders University.
