The man accused of murdering a mental health worker by stabbing her in the neck at a Perth home is likely to remain in a psychiatric facility until at least the end of the month. Jacqueline Lynn Francis, 50, was allegedly attacked on October 6 in Rockingham then drove to a nearby Dome cafe for help. She was rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital, where she died. Shannon Scott Westerman Smith, 37, made his second appearance in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murdering the mother of three. He was remanded in custody under a hospital order until his appearance in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on October 31.
