The board of health insurance company Nib NZ has appointed Andrew Blair as a non- executive director, effective August 25. On November 1, Blair will succeed Nib NZ chair, Hanne Janes, who steps down from the Nib NZ board, in line with Nib’s group board renewal policy. Nib Holdings chair, David Gordon, said Blair has extensive experience in New Zealand’s health sector. Blair is currently a director of Evolution Healthcare Group and Queenstown Airport Corporation. He is the founder and director of Andrew Blair Consulting, which has provided advice to and negotiated the sale of health specialist businesses.
