The acting chief executive of Cairns Hospital has been permanently appointed to the top level position. Clare Douglas, who has been filling in as interim chief executive since May, will remain in Cairns. Ms Douglas replaces Julie Hartley-Jones, who resigned that month to move to South Australia.
