Shia Prasad is charged with murdering 28 year old Keshni Mala Naicker and wounding Arveen Sharan outside the Ilam Retirement and Care on Ilam Road. The 52-year-old made a brief appearance by video link to the High Court in Christchurch this morning. Lawyer Andrew McCormick indicated he will enter pleas at his next appearance on October 9
