Nurses attending home callouts on their own must be stopped after the alleged bashing of a nurse in the remote Northern Territory community of Wadeye, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation of the Northern Territory has said. Head of the NT chapter, Yvonne Falckh, said health organisations were not taking adequate responsibility for their nurses’ safety.
