Nurses at the new $2.4 billion Royal Adelaide Hospital have warned that they will escalate a campaign over patient care policies if they are not satisfied with a formal response from the Health ­Department due today. The nurses’ union, which met with SA Health representatives on Monday, will resume crisis talks this morning in a bid to avert an escalation in a campaign to highlight chronic overcrowding, inefficient patient flow and a lack of available beds at the hospital, which opened in September.
