A man accused of raping a fellow resident at a disability group home also sexually assaulted two other people on multiple occasions, the Victorian Ombudsman has found. Disability services provider Autism Plus and the Department of Health and Human Services put clients at risk by failing to move the man despite repeated warnings, a report published by the ombudsman concluded.

A woman has been rushed to hospital after she crashed her car into the kitchen of an Albany aged care unit late on Saturday evening. It is understood the woman had been driving her Holden Commodore when she ran an intersection at the corner of David Street and Ulster Road, and crashed the car into a brick wall bordering the facility.
