Mr Perring, 43, moved to Finley in April from Miles in Queensland where he was a hospital facility manager, and has already established himself as a leader at the local hospital. ‘‘Miles Hospital also had an aged care facility and outreach clinics,’’ he said. ‘‘It was a big rural facility which had operating theatres and emergency rooms; bigger than Finley but more rural. Mr Perring has an extensive background in hospital management in a rural setting, with credentials in emergency and pediatric emergency, and experience in aged care management.
