‘‘My primary focus is developing the team at the hospital to provide a five star level of service.’’ That’s part of new facility nurse manager Aschleigh Perring’s vision for Finley Hospital. Mr Perring, 43, moved to Finley in April from Miles in Queensland where he was a hospital facility manager, and has already established himself as a leader at the local hospital. ‘‘Miles Hospital also had an aged care facility and outreach clinics,’’ he said. ‘‘It was a big rural facility which had operating theatres and emergency rooms; bigger than Finley but more rural. Mr Perring has an extensive background in hospital management in a rural setting, with credentials in emergency and pediatric emergency, and experience in aged care management.
