A s.185 (Application for approval of a single-enterprise agreement) from Ramsay Health Care Australia Pty Ltd T/A Greenslopes Private Hospital for its Ramsay Health Care Australia Pty Ltd T/A Greenslopes Private Hospital, Support Services Employees and The Australian Workers’ Union of Employees – Queensland, Enterprise Agreement 2019-2022 has been approved by Fair Work Commissioner Hunt in Brisbane on 18 September 2019.

A Cairns medical facility has been evacuated after a fire broke out on the roof. Firefighters were called to the Cairns Hand Clinic on Martyn St in Parramatta Park about 12.50pm. Police and paramedics are also on scene.It is understood the solar panels on the roof of the building caught alight, but have since been extinguished. There are no reports of injuries.

An attempt to break into Cooinda Aged Care on Samaria Rd has been investigated by police. Staff noticed that some external window surrounds had been removed from the premises on Samaria Rd at some point before last Wednesday afternoon.
