An aged-care facility in the Perth Hills is in lockdown with visitors warned to stay away because of a gastro outbreak. The WA Health Department said during the outbreak, 59 residents and 24 staff at Regis Greenmount had contracted the highly contagious illness, with one death reported during that time. It is the second time in the past three months the 127-bed facility has been hit by the spread of gastro. Health authorities were also notified of an outbreak there in October which lasted for two weeks.
