Sydney-based provider Group Homes Australia has announced changes at the top and three senior appointments to newly established roles. Group Homes Australia provides a social model of live-in dementia care in houses for 6 to 10 residents as well as home care, respite and palliative care. Tamar Krebs, who founded GHA in 2011, has transitioned to executive director after a decade as CEO. She had shared the CEO role since 2016 with GHA’s former managing director Jonathan Gavshon, who continues as CEO on his own. In new appointments, Anthony Bryce has been appointed head of household experience, responsible for ensuring residents and their families experience cherished moments every day. Mr Bryce was previously the regional sales and operations leader at Flight Centre. Amanda Jones, who recently finished a three-year stint as chief marketing officer at aged care technology and consulting firm Mirus Australia, has been appointed GHA’s head of engagement. Finally, Erin Sharp has joined the organisation as head of care and health, responsible for supporting and developing the clinical team in best practice care for residents.
