Leyouwerk Araya has been refused permission to hire a lawyer to fight Douttagalla T/A Yarraville Village Nursing Home over its dispensing with her services. The decision was made by Fair Work Commissioner Ryan in Melbourne.

Gary Gill has been refused an extension of time to pursue Kalparrin Community Inc over his dismissal. Fair Work Commissioner Platt in Adelaide ruled Mr Hill failed to provide validated evidence to support why he was 56 days late in filing a claim.

Mallee Track Health & Community Services has to face an appeal (Obatoki) against a decision previously issued in its favour by the Fair Work Commission. The Full Bench will hear the appeal today.
