It became clear that Kathy Jackson’s globetrotting lifestyle had come to a halt as the conditions of her bail were read to Melbourne Magistrates Court. Jackson was banned yesterday from going near international airports and required to surrender her passport. She was told to keep a “static residential address” that meant living at all times under the roof of her Wombarra home, south of Sydney. And then the thrill-killer for someone whose love of shopping is the stuff of legend: Jackson’s solicitor Philip Beazley reminded the court his client had no money because she was a bankrupt.
