A nursing home resident missing for more than 24 hours in Devonport has been found alive and well after spending the night in nearby bush. Geoffrey Cecil Best, 68, left the Karingal nursing home for a regular walk at 8:00am on Friday. The alarm was raised when he failed to return and police feared he may have become disorientated. Police and SES crews searched bushland near the home. They say he was located about 12.30pm but no other details are available.
