A s.185 (Enterprise agreement) application by Armest Pty Ltd T/A Miles Witt Partnership for its Hill View Aged Care Nursing Staff Enterprise Agreement 2016 has been approved by Commissioner Gregory. The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation and the Queensland Nurses’ Union of Employees were the bargaining representatives for the Agreement.

A former union boss has been granted bail after being charged with raping a woman. The man, who cannot legally be named, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday where his lawyer Terry Fisher said he denied the single charge of rape. His matter was adjourned to the same court on April 24.
