A NSW doctor (Dr John Grygiel) accused of underdosing dozens of cancer patients has settled an unfair dismissal claim against Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital, but has lost a bid to get his job back or receive compensation.

Bupa Aged Care Mosman is set to defend a s.394 (Application for unfair dismissal remedy) lodged by an ex-staff member (Tavassoli).

On 21 February 2017, Mrs Nofofakafeao Polutele made an application for remedy for unfair dismissal under s.394 of the Fair Work Act 2009. But she lodged her application late, didn’t complete the form, failed to pay the application fee and then dropped out of sight. Her application has been struck out.
