The New South Wales Health Minister plans to seize the Sydney home of a man who is accused of defrauding four of the state’s hospitals over 11 years by posing as a doctor. Shyam Acharya allegedly masqueraded as UK doctor Sarang Chitale in four New South Wales public hospitals over a decade. He has left the country and is believed to have left his wife and a small child in Australia. NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard has confirmed he plans to seize a home owned by Mr Acharya in North Ryde worth a reported $1.5 million

Russell was working part time with a church-based aged care provider and earned close to $170,000 during that period.
