A s.185 (Enterprise agreement) application by Cranbrook Care Pty Ltd for its Cranbrook Care HSU and NSWNMA and ANMF NSW Branch Enterprise Agreement 2017-2020 has been granted.

A man, 20, has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted an elderly patient at a care facility in Adelaide’s western suburbs. He is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 12.

A s.739 (Dispute resolution) application by Sara Noisette against the Brotherhood of St Laurence remains partially alive. Deputy President Clancy observed “the parties have essentially expressed a consent position that Ms Noisette is covered by the agreement. Their basis for so agreeing is unusual but if this is and was their common intention, then it seems to me that Ms Noisette is able to access the agreement’s dispute settling procedure and prosecute her dispute relating to clause A.10.16 of the agreement (accrued days off).”

About 100 Gold Coast medical staff are being dudded wages every fortnight, seven years after the Queensland Health payroll debacle.
