Minister for Seniors Australians and Aged Care Ken Wyatt has appointed three new members to the Aged Care Sector Committee, which provides advice to the federal government on aged care policy development and implementation. Jody Currie, chief executive officer of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service Brisbane, joins the committee as the representative of the National Advisory Group for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care. Professor John Pollaers has been appointed to the committee in his stead as chair of the Australian Industry and Skills Committee. The third new member is Professor John McCallum, CEO of National Seniors Australia, who replaces former National Seniors Australia CEO Dagmar Parson on the committee.
