Kangaroo Islanders may remember their former general practitioner Greg Crawford who left Kangaroo Island in 1997 to specialise in palliative medicine, after 12 years in practice on the Island with Drs Bruce Alcorn and Peter Jeffries. Greg is now a Senior Consultant in Palliative Medicine and Director of Research and Education with Northern Adelaide Palliative Service (NAPS) and has just been promoted to Professor of Palliative Medicine in the School of Medicine at the University of Adelaide.
