Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation state secretary Emily Shepherd has outlined her campaign priorities ahead of the Tasmanian branch secretary elections on November 29. Upon the resignation of former secretary Neroli Ellis in October, Ms Shepherd was unanimously endorsed by the ANMF state branch council to assume the mantle of state secretary until the end of the current term. She is a registered nurse and served as branch president for six years, as well as assistant secretary for more than a year before filling the shoes of Ms Ellis.
