The mother of a high-needs teenager who was left to drown in a bath says there is a definite public interest in pursuing a manslaughter case against the woman who was in charge of her son at the time he died. Angela Middlemiss’ 15-year-old son, Nathan Booker, drowned in a bath at the Idea Services-owned Woburn Family Support Centre in Palmerston North on January 10, 2014. He was left alone in a bath for 15 minutes, despite having the physical capabilities of a 6-month-old.
