A woman has suffered second and third degree burns in a fire which broke out in nursing home in Tamworth on Tuesday night. Emergency services were called to Nazareth House off Manilla Rd at Oxley Vale to reports of a blaze about 8.30pm. Firefighters extinguished the blaze in one of the bedrooms. A 55-year-old resident suffered second and third degree burns to 15 per cent of her body including her face and arms, police confirmed. She was assessed by paramedics and taken to Tamworth hospital.
