A maintenance worker is on trial after denying allegations he indecently assaulted an elderly resident at an Adelaide nursing home. It is alleged the accused, who cannot be identified, fondled the breasts of a 78-year-old resident with dementia in January and March last year. The alleged victim lives in the high dependency ward of a Resthaven facility at an undisclosed location. Today, two nurses gave evidence to the court that they caught the 64-year-old accused groping the female dementia patient when he thought no-one was watching.
