A light-fingered retirement village worker has been caught in the act by a hidden-camera sting. Cameras were installed in flats at the Poynton Retirement Village in Takapuna after more than 4000 dollars went missing. A 51 year-old village worker, Denise Neal, was caught snooping around, opening bags and checking people’s diaries. The covert cameras also caught her putting on blue plastic gloves while she went through rooms. She’s been sentenced to home detention and ordered to have therapy for a gambling problem.
