A 96-year-old man who was awarded an Australia Day honour this year has been charged with indecently assaulting two nurses who cared for him at his Sydney home. Aron Kleinlehrer, from Vaucluse, faces four charges in relation to incidents that allegedly took place last year against two women, aged 21 and 32. Police have alleged that Mr Kleinlehrer touched the women intimately and kissed them in circumstances of aggravation because he was employing them as his full-time carer. Mr Kleinlehrer’s solicitor Nancy Mikhaiel told Downing Centre Local Court a geriatrician had requested an MRI scan of her client’s brain before the case’s next scheduled court appearance. The allegations will return to court on September 14 and 21.
