A Pilbara health professional has received an award for mentoring excellence in her field. Kianna Barker, a WA Country Health Service health promotion co-ordinator for the Pilbara, took home the outstanding mentor award at the Australian Health Promotion Association (WA branch) awards night last month. She was one of only three health promotion experts in WA to be awarded.
