A nurse has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run outside Sunshine Hospital, in Melbourne’s west, police have said. The 29-year-old woman had just finished a shift and was crossing Furlong Road about 10:00pm, when a dark-coloured ute allegedly went through a red light at a pedestrian crossing. It did not slow down after hitting the woman, police said.
