A third woman from a nursing home has died following a mini-bus crash in Ardmona, near Shepparton. The woman, 91, died in hospital on Saturday night, four days after the collision, police said. A male taxi driver is charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death after his taxi crashed into a mini bus killing one woman and injuring a dozen others in the state’s north. She was one of a dozen elderly people who had been returning to their nursing home from a bakery on Tuesday afternoon when their mini-bus collided with a taxi. Police allege the taxi driver went through the intersection at Pyke and Turnbull roads in Ardmona and T-boned the bus, causing it to roll. An 80-year-old woman died at the scene while a 95-year-old woman died in hospital on Friday. Mercy Health said its staff were still trying to come to grips with what had happened.
