South Australian aged care and retirement living provider Resthaven has announced structural changes to its executive team, with several new appointments. Coming into effect since Monday, the not-for-profit provider’s senior branch has been revised “to better meet the requirements of the ever-changing compliance and reform environment in the aged care sector,” said Resthaven chief executive officer Darren Birbeck in a statement. The trigger for the shakeup was the resignation of executive manager strategy and governance Erika Comrie, whose last day in the role was 1 December. Tina Cooper – former executive manager residential and retirement living – has transferred to the new role of executive manager clinical governance and operational excellence. “Tina, who has been with Resthaven for 14 years, has the breadth of clinical expertise and organisational knowledge required to take on the challenge of this role,” said Mr Birbeck.
