Stephen Cunningham has failed to ping the State of NSW (Sydney Local Health District) for compensation. Cunningham is employed at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a security officer. He alleges he suffered noise induced hearing loss in that employment and made a claim for permanent impairment compensation and the cost of hearing aids on 15 September 2016. The hospital denies that Cunningham is employed in noisy employment and that it is liable for permanent impairment compensation and s60 expenses for hearing aids. The NSW Workers Compensation Commission agrees.
