A prominent rural doctor has been fined $25,000 for helping his ex-girlfriend get a prescription for anti-anxiety medication after she became distressed when he broke off their relationship. The SA Health Practitioners Tribunal has found general practitioner Scott Lewis, 37, engaged in “serious misconduct” on seven occasions.
