Police have confirmed that a woman’s body found on a suburban Hobart foreshore is that of a missing elderly retirement village resident. Investigators on Tuesday identified Judith Emery, whose body was found a day earlier at Claremont, less than a day after she was reported missing. “Police have no evidence of suspicious activity but ask that anyone who may have seen an elderly lady in the cliff top area around the Aveo Derwent Waters Retirement Village between Saturday lunchtime and Monday morning to (make) contact,” Detective Inspector Craig Joel said.
